Hello and welcome to the Dann Graham Photography website. Glad you could drop by.
Dann was born in San Luis Obispo, California in the mid 1800's and was raised in Silicon Valley amongst the backdrop of pocket protectors, slide rules and innovation; he has lived in the Greater Seattle area during the grunge music scene; and along the Great Plains of Wyoming during the windy season... however, he much prefers the Central Coast of California.
He spent the first part of his life gaining experiences that would surely come in handy throughout the next reincarnations of his existence; walking, talking, math, avoiding chaos (for the most part), etc.
The second phase of his life was spent as a recording and touring musical artist, causing chaos at every opportunity (so much for what he learned early in life). While he found this experience quite exciting and adventurous, it became quite tiresome to be in the limelight; and his sleep patterns were changing as he aged (slowly, mind you).
Eventually, Dann decided starting a business that would make him piles of money was indeed a good idea. He managed to create a new niche market in digital document management that did quite well for almost two decades. It never made him 'piles' of money as he hoped, and as uninteresting as that career sounded, it really turned out to be just that uninteresting. So, Dann began to look inward and onward....
In 2011, not unlike the Beverly Hillbilly's, the Graham family moved from middle Earth to California - a decision frowned upon by most with less faith in Dann's chaos theory then even Dann himself.
Currently Dann can be found wandering the coastlines, mountains and vineyards along the central coast of California, writing music, fancying himself as a photographer, writing humorous tongue-in-cheek pieces and teaching his children important lessons in life such as 1) 'don't take yourself so seriously that you would actually write something completely factual - especially about yourself' and most importantly, 2) 'enjoy your life to the fullest and share what you do with the world, regardless of what anyone thinks about its relevance or financial worth.'
You should really meet Dann if you have a chance; he is mostly harmless.
